Word is that a developer for Lowes Home Improvement has contracted a parcel of land on Highway #9. The Michael Companies have had three teams of developers in town over the past week giving consideration to locating their ventures here. Seems that Cheraw & Chesterfield both have momentum and attributes that commercial developers are attracted to. As our retail/service exposure grows so will our residential capacity, as both feed off each other. Its great to see growth come our way adding convenience to our lifestyle.
