Voting Publc Shows Integrity.
Chesterfield, Marlboro, Darlington, and Dillon counties cast an overwhelming vote for Fourth Circuit Solicitor Democratic candidate Will Rogers. Rogers secured 63% of the vote with 14941 compared to Jay Ervin's 8894 votes, garnering Rogers a lead of 6047 votes. In Chesterfield Counties race for Auditor Jack Rivers secured a comfortable lead with a nearly 800 vote surplus over opponent Farris Pigg. Chesterfield County Council Candidate Matt Rivers was successful over challenger Tommy Hunt by a margin of 248 votes. Incumbent Lenora Powe inched by Loretta McNeal by just 14 votes for the Chesterfield County Council position. In the Chesterfield County Coroner's race, Kip Kiser was victorious against opponents Jim Foxworth and Craig Walker, kudos to Foxworth for running a very visible and aggressive campaign. All in all, the public showed a great amount of integrity in their vote in this Democratic Primary, more results can be found by clicking here.
