Whew !!! Is our area HOT right now or what? There is much in the works in the form of development for housing and commercial ventures. Land continues to be in high demand
with uses ranging from hunting, recreational, getaway, equestrian, commercial use and for
new home construction. In discussion with developers/marketers, it appears that our region
is on the slate for continued growth, which in and of itself should help the local economy.
Some of our recent sales have included buyers from California, Virginia, Ohio, Florida, New
Jersey, New York and Colorado. In addition, we are working on two lakeside developments
one in Marlboro County and another in Anson County that will offer amenities such as boating,
fishing, hiking, equestrian facilities and more. We are also teamed with two other developments
that will offer homes in the 1500-1600 sq ft range in the Cheraw area & are in dicussions
regarding another development that will offer a mix of lakeside, lakeview and equestrian friendly lots, so lots of potential for continued growth and some exciting properties being made available in the area. Whats next?
