Current Real Estate Climate

Cheraw seems to be holding it's own in the real estate arena. Based on the national statistics, we are neck and neck overall. When you get to specifics, our land market is doing greater and continues to gain interests from persons out of the area. The problem has been the supply. There are more buyers than sellers. Small parcels are in the most demand and can range in use from recreational, equestrian, hunting or a homesite. Our landscape has lots of attributes, gentle rolling terrain, trees, pastures, etc. Given the opportunity that the area offers, its no suprise that we have seen the increased interest. Land should continue to be a good investment as it has proven itself over the years. "Land...they're not making anymore."
